This three-layered artwork carries deep symbolism. By using different colors on separate layers of Duralar paper, I create a sense of depth in this 2D piece. The visible construction lines are an integral part of my process, encouraging the viewer to understand that what is seen on the surface is only a fragment of the greater reality beneath.
