This project has been my favorite so far. Adding everything that I love is in one piece. I am always drawn towards making vertical long pieces and this piece has not disappointed me.
Adding minimum calligraphy with heavy meaning enhanced by the tezhib and geometric patterns around it makes one to wonder the vast world around us. The calligraphy says "strike with your staff the sea" (Quran 26:63), and hence the water around it showing movement.
This is piece is one of a kind without any prints. There is real 24K gold used in this artwork along with gold metallic markers. Gauche paints gives it a bright look to the artwork. You may contact me for any further inquiries about this work.
The Striking - Giclée Print
Giclée prints use 300gsm Fine Art 100% Rag paper. The print ensures the harmonic color intensity and sharpness which is achieved by the highest quality reproduction. The surface of the print is slightly textured with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth color gradients.
